I heard a quote that expressed the sentiment that “we are transformed by what we love.” If this is true, consider the wonderful attributes a llama has to offer: they are PATIENT, GENTLE, CURIOUS, QUIET, INTELLIGENT, CALM, EAGER TO PLEASE, CONCERNED FOR OTHERS, AND TRUSTING (to mention a few). I bet you never thought of this benefit to owning llamas. At any rate, as we travel through life, God uses many people, experiences, and things to impact us. Certainly, my life has been transformed as a result of owning these wonderful animals.

My intention is to keep my herd small so as to concentrate on disposition, conformation, and fiber quality. I am not interested in breeding for the simple purpose of accumulating offspring. My goal is to produce quality llamas that are easy to handle and enjoy people. I want you to enjoy these animals as much as I do.

I am very picky about the bloodlines I choose and have accumulated some of the best genetics in the country all with my main goals in mind. My herd is an accumulation from as far west as Oregon and my one herdsire's parents come from Chile. Most of my animals are Champions, produce Champions, or come from Champion lines.

I am also committed to the highest quality health care and record keeping for my animals. Every animal is registered with the International Lama Registry and is weighed and examined monthly. Each animal is microchipped, and I have personal daily contact with each animal.

The scripture verse on my business card best reflects my view of life, these animals, and how I want to run my farm: “…whatever is true…honorable…just…pure…lovely…gracious, if there is any excellence… anything worthy of praise, think about these things…” (Phil. 4:8-9) I am convinced that I must deal with people in an honest and up front manner. I will gladly share all of what I know and the wisdom of others. Selling someone a llama oftentimes means the start of a new relationship as I make myself available to answer questions and be there for follow up care. That’s fine with me. Owning llamas brings all sorts of blessings. I hope that your life can be enriched with a BHLF llama.

Sincerely,
Carol
